合理的解释是：把一天当中的时刻分为几段，然后加定冠词表示类指。每当说起这些时间词组时，都知道每个说法是指任何一天当中的 “上午、下午、晚上”。如果具体指某一天的“上午、下午、晚上”，特指时用定冠词，不特指用不定冠词，介词用 on 不用 in，表示特定的某一天的这个时间段。例如：
